NHS Health Checks: making inequalities better or worse

  • Venue: National Glass Centre, Liberty Way, Sunderland

NHS Health Checks are a universally offered CVD risk assessment which aims to improve the health of the public through the identification of increased risk and potential illness. Do we need to examine whether current methods of delivering the checks actually produce intervention-generated inequalities which make the gap between most healthy and least healthy even wider, and, if so, find ways to minimise this problem?
