Canadian Foundation to host international Knowledge Exchange conference in 2018

Canada's Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR) has partnered with the British Columbia Ministry of Health and Fuse to host the 4th Fuse International Conference on Knowledge Exchange in Public Health.

The event will take place 8-10 May 2018 at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The conference will explore the challenges encountered when integrating evidence into policy and highlight exciting solutions to successfully produce, integrate and communicate research evidence for policy making that promotes and protects the health of citizens. This will be the fourth Fuse conference on knowledge exchange in public health and is part of their mission to deliver world-class public health research, build sustainable capacity, and build effective and lasting partnerships.

Who should attend?

This conference will be of interest to those producing and using evidence from across the spectrum of health and wellbeing communities, in population and public health, health promotion, epidemiology, health sciences, infectious diseases, primary health care, youth health care, community mental health, knowledge translation and exchange, and communication sciences.

Have a project to share?

The conference advisory committee is currently finalising the various theme areas for the conference and will be seeking presentation proposals and abstracts. More details will be available soon in MSFHR's monthly e-newsletter 'Connections' and on the Foundation's website www.msfhr.org.
