UKCRC PHRCoE Conference 5-6 July 2012

UKCRC PHRCoE Conference and Summer School

UKCRC Public Health Research Centres of Excellence
3rd Annual Conference and Summer School
Hosted by Fuse at Durham University, 5-6th July 2012

This event spanned two days, the first of which followed a traditional conference format, with plenary and parallel sessions, with an overall theme of ‘translation of research evidence for public health policy and practice’. The conference aimed to showcase the best of current research in the five UKCRC Public Health Research Centres of Excellence. A number of policy and practice partners associated with all five centres were invited to join the event.

The second day of the event was a 'summer school', primarily an internal affair for the five centres, focusing on learning events, such as master classes, one-to-one ‘clinic’ sessions, student presentations etc.
