C-WorKS Connect online: What do we know about the wider impacts of COVID?

Setting their sights for recovery planning, this short online session from the C-WorKS team via MS Teams is an opportunity to revisit available health intelligence resources, and find out about data and some of the tools to estimate the wider impacts on health as a result of COVID-19 in the North East and Yorkshire.

During the session the C-WorKS team will highlight some of the latest national and regional findings from the wider impacts of COVID (WICH) tool as well as useful resources available on the C-WorKS platform. At the end of the session participants will have an opportunity to raise questions and share their own resources and planned responses to the indirect effects of COVID-19 on population health.

  • A year on - an overview of the wider impacts of COVID-19 on health inequalities in national and regional context  (Barbara Coyle, Associate Director, Local Knowledge and Intelligence Service, PHE)
  • Regional and local intelligence on COVID consequences  - Outline of health intelligence resources to inform recovery plans (Charlotte Bamford, Senior Public Health Analyst, LKIS, PHE)
